Celestial Apparition in Ukraine's Chatyr-Dag mountain region

The strange figure left a group of trekkers quaking in their walking boots after it appeared in the Ukraine's Chatyr-Dag mountain region. What is it?

Some claim it could be a natural phenomenon known as a Brocken Spectre. The rare illusions are created when a low sun shines behind someone looking down into fog from a ridge.
The heads of the figures are often surrounded by rings of coloured light, an effect caused by the diffraction of visible light.

To add to the frightening effect, the ghostly figures can sometimes appear to move, often very suddenly, due to the drifting of the clouds. Natural phenomena or a possible dimetional, celestial being?

Green Ghost Takes A Stroll In Aberdeenshire Garden?

A SPOOKED couple told last night how they snapped a Martian-style "little green man" striding through their garden.

Gary and Amanda Linney accidentally captured the glowing figure as they tested a new camera outside their remote Aberdeenshire cottage.

The eerie photos emerged just days after another family just 25 miles away claimed to have filmed a UFO floating above their house.

And last night former cop Gary, 52, who now runs a hotel, said: "It looks like a little green man running. In the second photo you can see a head.

"I was a policeman and a pilot for 20 years and have never seen anything like it." Mum-of-three Amanda, 46, added: "I have no idea what it was."

The strange snaps, taken at the pair's Slains Estate cottage in Collieston, come days after we told how Morag Ritchie saw a UFO hover over her home in nearby Fraserburgh.
